The most often adjustment is to drill extra holes, then you could place the hardware in the position where they fit instead of following the pre-designed sunken grooves. But, it will leave 2 unusable pre-drilled holes if you drill extra holes. So, we do not advise you to use hard saddlebags on rainy days..
