This easy-to-use kit includes everything you need to create a wide range of unique shibori patterns.
Shibori is a Japanese dyeing technique that involves folding, twisting or bunching cloth, binding it and then dyeing it with indigo.
Inside the box is Indigo All-Purpose Dye, which works on many types of fabric, including cotton, linen, silk, wool, rayon, ramie or nylon. Proudly non-toxic and safe for sewer and septic systems.
Also included are rubber bands, twine, squares, gloves, simple instructions and ColorStay Dye Fixative, our secret weapon to reduce bleeding and fading.
