accuracy: H7. Tungsten carbide tool is hardened to 50HRC, good for general purpose applications.
Uncoated Tool: Features just the base substrate without any additional treatment or coatings. Heat treated and quenched for stable performance, suitable for wide ranges of applications.
Round Shank: Can be used with a wide variety of tool holding systems. Good for use in through or blind holes and used for light cut, repair work, removing stock.
Features: Straight flute tool allows chips to collect in the flutes when cutting, well suited for applications in shallow cuts. Tungsten carbide reamer is with high hardness and strong wear resistance for long service life.
Application: Designed for accurate reaming in stainless steel, alloy steel and other metal materials, used on equipment including screw machines, turret lathes, drill presses and machining centers.
tolerance: H7. Features just the base substrate without any additional coatings, good for wide ranges of applications.
Material: High-speed steel tools are with combination of hardness and toughness for wear resistance, suitable for general purpose applications.
Applications: Cut and remove the thin layer metal on hole surface that has been processed, mainly to improve the precision of holes and reduce the surface roughness.
Features: Straight flute tools allow chips to collect in the flutes and can make shallow cuts in most applications.
How to Use: Chucking reamers (machine reamers) are used on lathes, drill presses and screw machines. Designed for accurate reaming in stainless steel, aluminum, copper, alloy, plastic.
VARIOUS APPLICATIONS: Chrome-vanadium steel (CR-V) M14 x 1.25 internal thread size on repair sleeve suitable for damaged spark plug threads to clean and rethread spark plug ports on a BMW vehicle and some Nissan and Toyota engines.
As long as the head is aluminum and the spark plug hole is straight with room to turn the tap using either a ratchet or wrench, this kit will allow you to repair plugs without removing the head.
EASY TO USE: Rotate the crankshaft to make sure no ports/valves are open, use the tap to install new threads, choose the proper depth of insert, and screw it firmly into the newly tapped head.
Apply grease on the tap to help catch any metal shavings (rather than letting them drop into the cylinder) and back out the tap out every half turn to every whole turn to clean the metal shavings from the tap.
PERFECT SIZE: 14mm reamer with 12 points.
Use with 3/8-inch drive ratchet or wrench.
Inserts sizes are 3/8-Inch, 7/16-Inch, 1/2-Inch, and 3/4-Inch.
Tap is tapered to allow the tip to fit and rethread the hole in order for the coil to fit.
Measure your plug diameter, thread, and pitch to see if this kit is compatible.
29/32\ Expansion Reamer, Carbide Tipped, Straight Shank, Partial Flute Carbide 56018P, USA Made
When the diameter wears down to the low limit, it may be expanded oversize, reground to size and recleared. The expansion screw should never be loosened in an attempt to use the reamer for a size smaller than that to which the tool was originally finish ground. These reamers are inteded to be used for 1 specific diameter, not multiple diameters..
