It is ideal for both indoor and outdoor applications like deck, stair, porch, balcony, and fence. However, if your project is located near the seaside or humid areas, Muzata aluminum posts PD01/PD02/PW01 are highly recommended for its super strong salt tolerance.
Code compliance - This structural post is designed with 3" cable spacing. Generally, the span between two structural posts should not exceed 4 feet to pass the 4" sphere test. But it could be increased to 7 feet if you add an intermediate post between two structural posts. Search Muzata PS11 to get matched rectangular intermediate posts. Pls consult local building offices about the rules since there might be different requirements in some states.
